Our History
Robert Jan's teaching background begin with his 3 boys - Andy, Kenny & Danny - inside his New Territory home. They invited their friends over to work on math homework and with Mr. Jan's enthusiasm, saw tremendous improvements. Soon enough, friends invited other friends and Mr. Jan's Math Class was born! Initially a part-time job at the local Chinese school and New Territory Club, tutoring became Mr. Jan's full career after leaving his mechanical engineering role of 25 years. Now, Mr. Jan teaches students from Fort Bend to Katy in both public and private schools in his pursuit to share his lifelong passion of mathematics.
After opening his flagship location in Sugar Land, Mr. Jan has expanded his love of teaching to Katy and Fulshear. He is joined by his entire family to spread the joy of mathematics and science to the upcoming youth. Come and see what Mr. Jan's Math Class is all about!
